There has been a battle raging since the beginning of creation to keep us disconnected from our Creator. The me, myself, and I attitude that says, “I don’t need anyone else; it is all about what I want,” has caused a disconnection from God, family, and community (church, school, and work) and erodes the very nature of how God created us – to be connected. We were not created to be alone, but to have relationships and our first and ultimate relationship is with God.

Genesis 3 declares that God went looking for Adam and his wife in the garden to have fellowship with them, but the enemy came in and caused a disconnection between Adam and Eve, and more tragically disconnected them from God. The disconnection from family was evident in the garden because the fellowship between the man (Adam) and the woman (Eve) was damaged and their direct connection with God was broken.

That same disconnection exists today; husbands and wives are disconnected from one another and God and parents are disconnected from the children.  As a result, the family unit is disconnected, many churches are divided, and schools are in disarray.  How can two walk together accept they be agreed? Jesus prayed “That they all maybe one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”  John 17:21

Faith Girls walk in agreement with God’s purpose for unity of heart, mind, and spirit. We declare that we will see a connection in our generation as we declare a new day of service and connection to God, family, and community (church, school, and work).  Therefore we may one day, through faith, subdue kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtain promise blessings, and stop the mouths of lions (Hebrews 11:33).

Faith Girls are pressing forward in this battle to reconnect.  Please join us by making a commitment to reconcile and reconnect to God, family, and community!
